Valley Christian Assembly is part of the FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies. The church was established by Pastor Dick Carlson
in the early 1980's. The church was orginally built as a house, but was later bought by the Carlson Family and the house soon became
a house of God. This landmark church is located on the corner of Fred Waring Dr. and Portola Avenue and is passed by thousands
each week.
VCA started with a family of 5 and has grown into a family of about 450 people. Over the years, VCA has birthed 3
new ministries: a church in Zamora Mexico, led by Pastor Dave Rice, Jr.; a Spanish Service, led by Pastor Dave Rice, located at the
Sr. Center in La Quinta; and a church in Riverside (www.riversidechristianassembly.com), led by Pastor Mark's son, Pastor Andrew Brattrud.
We have recently started our Saturday Night Services every week at 6 pm. Saturday Night Services has the same message as Sunday
morning services, however, the service is not bound by time so that worshippers can freely stay at the altar for extra prayer and
worship time. It is a fusion of the powerful Wednesday Night Prayer services and Sunday Morning messages.
